Handset taps are devices that plug into the
curly line cord on a telephone handset. They
can connect to most telephone handsets
regardless of whether it’s a digital or analog
telephone. Handset taps are not considered an elegant way to connect.

The LP1 connector include its own sound card and is USB connected to the PC
